A strike by local police over wages in Cordoba, Argentina's third largest city, led to a night of crime and violence as looters and gangs rampaged throughout the streets. Reports have indicated that one person was killed and more than sixty injured overnight, with the city effectively paralyzed as public transport services and banks were shut down.
