First reports indicate that the police officer shot the 26-year-old young man identified as Brandon de Jesús “N” , after he refused to stop at a municipal checkpoint.

Witnesses at the scene point out that the uniformed officers opened fire on the young man despite the fact that there were no previous attacks against the authorities, which unleashed chaos in the streets of Lerdo de Tejada, Veracruz .
