CCTV caught the moment mugger dragged an 80-year-old along the road as he tried to stop him stealing his wife's handbag

A mugger who was caught on camera dragging an 80-year-old grandfather along the street with his getaway van before leaving him for dead at the roadside has been jailed for two years.

Footage shows Anthony Davies, 38, running down Higher Market Street in Bolton, Greater Manchester, on March 18, 2019, and jumping into his van after stealing 60-year-old Maria Stewart's handbag.
