A man was killed during a police chase, in the early evening of Thursday (24), in the Jardim Campo Belo region in Campinas (SP).

After stealing a vehicle, the suspect was pursued by several vehicles of the Military Police, with the support of BAEP (Battalion of Special Police Actions), Military Highway Police and also the PM Eagle helicopter.

According to the police, the suspect allegedly fired shots at the agents several times.

On Rua Naudir Pereira de Souza, the police fired back and ended up hitting the suspect who did not resist his injuries and died on the spot.
