after posting my last video, it reminded me of an incident I witnessed myself. I had travelled to Chile once and was in a coastal town of Viña Del Mar. I stayed in an apartment building about a block away from this incident. I remember hearing a boom and checking to see what had happened. the road (International Avenue) often has trucks with faulty brakes and it is quiet dangerous, although the town is pleasant. Anyways, the truck lost its brakes and crashed into a bus (called "micros") which then collided into the side of a shopping mall. Believe it or not, it was only the truck driver who died. The pedestrians who got hit, the cars that were hit, and the people in the bus; they all survived with relatively minor injuries. Anyway, here is the video of the accident, plus some aftermath and some photos. maybe I took one or two of them myself, haha.
