The body of municipal civil guard George Santos Viana, 41, was found on Tuesday, May 6, in the Catu de Abrantes neighborhood, in Camaçari, Bahia. The victim was shot and killed and was carrying a 9mm pistol, which was taken by the perpetrators of the crime.

The Salvador Municipal Civil Guard expressed its condolences over the death of the agent and highlighted its commitment to public safety. The institution also reported that it is providing support to the victim's family.
