On May 19, 2026 three brilliant criminals in Quito spotted what looked like an easy target in town: a lone guy sitting inside a tiny red car. Unfortunately for them, the driver was an off-duty cop who instantly turned their amateur heist into a firearms demonstration. One robber’s criminal career ended permanently, his accomplice was instantly tackled into custody, and the third ran so fast he is probably still running around Ecuador to this day.
