A spectacular accident occurred last week on Escribano Vázquez Street, next to the Venado II country club in the Canning area of ​​Ezeiza. Although the incident happened a few days ago, the video with the images became known in the last few hours.

It all happened on the last Saturday of October, almost at the gate of the country club, when Sandra Vollkomm, wife of the president of the institution, Rafael Masri, was crossing the street towards Venado II and a car ran over her, throwing her several meters onto the shoulder. The car was driven by a woman.

The images, which went viral, foreshadowed a tragedy that fortunately did not occur.

According to a person close to her family and a member of the country, "VollKomm, she was coming back from running with a friend, as she usually does, and a car ran her over while crossing the street. She suffered various injuries. She is under observation. It could have been a tragedy."

She was quickly rescued and taken to a health centre where she recovered and was able to resume her normal activities during the week. She added: "Luckily, she is a sporty woman, which obviously helped. She ran in the Maccabiah marathons."
