The case of young Diana Peña, who recently lost her life in a tragic traffic accident at kilometer 14 of the Duarte Highway, has taken a new turn with new details about the moments prior to her fatal outcome.

According to a source close to the victim, Diana, a resident of Los Alcarrizos, had left work with the intention of surprising her eldest son, who was celebrating his birthday, by buying a biscuit at the Garrido supermarket. However, her day, which began with joy, ended in tragedy.

It was reported that while riding a motorcycle with the driver, they both witnessed a collision between two vehicles. In an attempt to avoid impact with the cars involved in the accident, the motorcycle driver made a sudden overtake.
