Last Monday (19), a body was found in a state of putrefaction, in the Nova Vida neighborhood, in Petrolina, in the backlands of Pernambuco.

According to the Civil Police, the body was found inside the victim's residence and sent to the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML) to determine the cause of death. A police investigation was opened to determine the circumstances of the death.

The Civil Police have not yet released the victim's identity or the possible causes of death.
