Two electricians received an electric shock during repairs on a railway in the Irkutsk region. The victims died on the spot.

The incident occurred on the morning of June 2 in Vikhorevka. According to the IrkutskMedia news agency, the men were repairing the contact suspension of de-energized network supports at the railway station. A short circuit occurred during the process, resulting in electric shock to the workers.

The prosecutor's office is investigating the incident. The law enforcement agency will assess the employer's compliance with labor protection legislation.
