Feb 13, 2023 — According to a video circulating on social networks, the priest, Rev Juan Angulo Fonseca, and other people were outside a vehicle in the vicinity of Rancho La Soledad, in the San Francisco de Asís Delegation.

In the video, a subject with brown clothes and covered face is observed who approaches people threateningly and pointing a shotgun.

Then, the woman who apparently records, tells the men who are on the sides of the car: "Juan, let's go now! But a second later the man with the shotgun fires and the woman screams in terror: "We're leaving now , we're leaving!", while in the video the priest is seen lying on the ground

The State Prosecutor's Office reported that a 53-year-old relative of the victim, who was a priest from Valle de Guadalupe, allegedly fired a shotgun twice with which he fatally wounded him, before fleeing on a motorcycle.

"From the first inquiries it was learned that the conflict was due to alleged family disputes," the agency said in a statement
