An off-duty military police officer, identified as Elieze Oliveira da Silva, and a suspect involved in drug trafficking were shot dead in the early hours of this Saturday (30), at a kiosk on Praia do Pontal, in Paraty (RJ), near the Historic Center.

Another PM and an Argentine tourist were shot in the leg.

In a video of the incident, it is possible to see four criminals armed with a 556 rifle approaching the kiosk and shooting at close range. There were almost 30 shots. Desperate, people run away and even crawl on the ground to avoid being hit.

The bandits, who were wearing dark pants, boots and a bulletproof vest, used a white car to commit the crime. Another security camera captured the moment they fled in the vehicle. As of the last update of this report, no one had been arrested.
