The video showing the actions of the Military Police of the Federal District (PMDF) when restraining a man in a psychotic episode began to circulate this Thursday (11/7). The incident occurred in the back of the external parking lot of Terraço Shopping , in Octogonal, in 2021. However, the video emerged this Thursday.

He had already been shot in the leg, but continued to advance towards the soldiers and threaten them with a knife.

At one point, when he advances again against one of the police officers, he is shot again and falls to the ground. In the video, it is possible to hear the military asking for the Fire Department to come to his aid. Even though he was injured, the young man still managed to stab one of the officers in the leg.

According to information provided by the victim's parents at the time, his psychotic episode had already lasted three days. "The entire situation will be investigated in a military police investigation to elucidate the facts in detail," the police said.
