In images recorded by a security camera and later posted on social media, the moment can be seen when a woman and a man tried to assault the driver who, minutes earlier, had picked up her son at Guadalupe school .

The criminals took advantage of the mother's distraction when she was getting into her vehicle to sneak up and threaten her to hand over the keys. In the midst of her fear of saving her child, the woman confronted them and during the struggle began to scream and ask for help.

As she tried to defend herself from her attackers, a car that was parked nearby decided to drive away, while other people walking in the area avoided the confrontation, and others simply decided to turn a blind eye despite being just a few meters away from being able to support her.

Seeing that she was 'alone against the world', while defending herself, the mother, who was being attacked in front of her son's eyes, managed to sound the truck's horn for several seconds, which caused, by attracting more attention from people circulating in the area, 'scaring' the criminals who, after taking some of her belongings and leaving her injured, began to escape, without anyone doing anything to try to catch them.

Moments later, with the criminals no longer nearby, several people approached to help the woman.
