A man died after being shot in a nightclub on Avenida Mauro Ramos, in downtown Florianópolis , on Tuesday morning (8). Information from the Military Police (PM) indicates that the victim was a customer and the murder occurred after a dispute with security guards.

The crime took place around 6 am and the shot was fired by a police officer who was at the scene and who intervened in the fight caused, supposedly, by a disagreement over the price of the order.

"A fight started there, some guys beat up a security guard. A police officer, a soldier who was there, ended up intervening in the fight and, defending security, fired a shot and the man died," reported Lieutenant Colonel André Rodrigo Serafin, commander of the 4th Battalion.
