There was nothing that the rider could have done to prevent this. She was going the speed limit in a straight line when the car crossed over every lane and impacted the rider. The bike ended up crossing over the grassy median, through oncoming traffic, and off the road into the grass on the other side. This can happen to everyone at any time.
