An 18-year-old woman, identified as Ananda died after colliding with a power pole in Parintins, Amazonas state, Brazil, on the morning of this Saturday . The accident happened after the victim and a friend tried to avoid another motorcycle and lost control of the vehicle.

The sudden manoeuvre caused the motorcycle to crash violently into the pole, causing Ananda's immediate death. The passenger, identified as Evelyn, 19 years old, suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital in the region.
