A woman identified as Claudete Gomes da Silva, 39, was stabbed to death on Wednesday night (2), in Santa Maria do Pará, in the northeast of the state. According to information passed on to the Military Police, the victim was on Rua do Corujão, talking in a bar, when she was attacked. Her partner, Jeferson Bezerra de Oliveira, 41, was arrested. The case is being investigated as femicide.
