A nurse was killed in an attempted robbery in Mooca, in the east of São Paulo.

The crime happened around 6 am local time on Ethiopia Street. The victim was leaving work when he was approached by two armed men. When attempting to react with a hammer, he was shot in the neck.

He was taken to the emergency room where he succumbed to his injuries.
