A young man lost his life after throwing himself from an elevated tank located on Avenida Pino Suárez in the municipality of Los Héroes Tecámac , State of Mexico, despite the efforts of the Civil Guard to stop his intentions.

Following an emergency call in which it was reported that a young man was at the top of the tank with possible intentions of jumping, emergency and security forces went to the scene to apply deterrence protocols.

According to statements from some witnesses and a video circulating on social media, members of the Tecámac Civil Guard climbed on top of the tank to try to start a conversation with the young man; however, upon noticing the presence of the officers, he decided to jump.

Paramedics who were on the scene treated the victim, who still had vital signs, and transferred him to a hospital; however, he died during the trip.
