Nine people died and 23 were injured after a tourist bus overturned this Thursday morning (11), on BR-101, in the city of Teixeira de Freitas , in the extreme south of Bahia. The information was confirmed by the Federal Highway Police (PRF).

According to the PRF, the accident happened at km 885 of the highway, around 4:30 am, towards the Posto da Mata district. The vehicle left Rio de Janeiro , and the destination was Porto Seguro , also in the extreme south of Bahia. At the end of this report, photos show the location of the accident .
