A shooting at the Arujazinho condominium, located on Avenida Guerra Junqueiro in Itaquaquecetuba , ended with a 48-year-old man arrested in the act. The action took place on the night of this Wednesday (26).

According to the Secretary of Public Security (SSP), the man was working as a security guard when he had an “outburst” and opened fire on a co-worker and a delivery boy. The suspect was detained by a third security guard who opened fire on the first in order to immobilize him.

The incident was attended to by the Military Police. Those injured in the shooting were taken to regional hospitals and the suspect was hospitalized under police escort.

In addition, an expert analysis of the site and the weapons used by the guards was requested. The case was registered by the Itaquaquecetuba Police Station as attempted homicide.
