In the Krasnodar Territory, a man in a medical mask attacked a seller and demanded money.

The crime occurred in April in the Primorsko-Akhtarsk district. The attacker was caught and criminal proceedings were instituted.

A traffic policeman who patrolled the streets was approached by a passerby. He said he heard screams for help and saw a man run out of the grocery store. Police officers arrived at the store.

A female seller told them that an unknown person in a medical mask and dark glasses entered the room. He attacked her and demanded money from the cash register. The victim began to resist and call for help. The attacker was frightened and hid empty-handed, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Krasnodar Territory reported.

Police interviewed possible eyewitnesses, studied the recordings of CCTV cameras. After this, a 38-year-old resident of the Bryukhovetsky district was arrested on one of the streets. The man was taken to the department.

The criminal case on attempted robbery was opened. The man was detained; he faces up to seven years in prison.
