Ten days before the dog attack, the same thief was caught by police in an attempted robbery, captured on a security camera. After being released, the thief entered the elderly woman's house through the back, apparently intending to rob her. He was surprised by 15 dogs guarding the house. As a result of the attack, he suffered injuries to his legs and buttocks, a throat injury, and partial amputation of his genitals. According to the medical report, he is in serious condition.
