A man attempting to rob a pharmacy in Cerrillos, Chile was shot and killed on the 21st of January 2025. He wore a disguise as he jumped over the counter with a knife when the owner turned away.

The pharmacy owner drew a gun, leading to a struggle. He fired warning shots, but one hit the suspect in the abdomen. The man was taken to a medical center but was later pronounced dead.
