Luís Nelson Santos was shot dead by two men on a motorcycle on Sunday night, May 4, in the José Alexandre Zachia neighborhood, in Passo Fundo, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.

The crime took place on Maria Rocha Street, near the community's soccer field. According to security camera footage, the two criminals arrived shooting. One of them was carrying a large-caliber weapon, which reinforces the suspicion of premeditated execution.

The victim was hit by several shots at close range and died at the scene. After the attack, the shooters fled at high speed.

The Military Police were at the scene, and the General Institute of Forensics carried out technical investigations. The Civil Police, through the Homicide Division, is investigating the case. The motive for the murder is still unknown.
