A man was murdered on the morning of Thursday, July 18, by subjects inside a parking lot in block 4 of El Recreo, in Durán.

This new case of contract killings is being reported in the midst of a major intervention that the Government has been carrying out in that area with various ministries and the Security Block since this week due to the increase in crimes.

Intervention in Durán includes census of those living in conflict-ridden areas

According to RTS , this area has several security cameras and gates. The criminals allegedly shot at the cameras and then entered the parking lot.

The victim was shot several times in the head. His body was left lying on the ground waiting for the arrival of the Forensic Medicine vehicle.

As soon as the shots were heard, neighbors ran out to see who had been killed.

Agents from the Durán district went to the site to cordon off the area and wait for the body to be removed amid the admiration and fear of all the residents of that sector.
