Images from a security camera recorded the moment when a 42-year-old man was shot in the head, in Cascavel , in western Paraná, this Monday morning (22). The videos were released by the Civil Police. Watch the video above.

In one of the images, the victim appears inside a building materials store and is being watched by the shooter. Upon leaving the scene, in another video, the man is surprised by the suspect who shoots at close range.

According to the Civil Police, the crime took place in the Santos Dumont neighborhood, on Rua Cumbica around 9:30 am.

After shooting, the shooter fled and has not yet been identified or arrested, according to police.

The PC reported that it analyzes the images from the security cameras and takes steps to investigate the case.

With this Monday's crime (22), the city of Cascavel reached its 29th homicide in 2023.
