In Bratsk, state traffic inspectors establish the identity of a pedestrian who died in an accident. The road incident occurred on February 6 at about 05:00 am on the 226th kilometer of the A-331 Vilyui federal highway, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Irkutsk Region reports.

According to preliminary information, a 26-year-old local resident was driving a Subaru Forester car from the Energetik residential area towards the Central District of the city. On the roadway, he hit a man and drove off the road, the car turned over . The pedestrian died from his injuries before the arrival of the ambulance, the driver of the foreign car was not injured.

Police are investigating the incident and identifying the deceased
