Waterbury police released body cam footage of a 22-year-old who was arrested on Wednesday after he was caught driving a stolen vehicle with a gun and drugs in the car, according to police.

Police were executing a search warrant on the home of Daniel Hunter when they saw him enter a gray Jeep Cherokee that was reported stolen from Madison. When officers approached, Hunter attempted to flee the scene, hitting three parked cars, three police cruisers and a large dumpster during his attempt.

Inside the car, police found a loaded handgun that was reported stolen from Pennsylvania, multiple stolen credit cards and identification cards. He was also found to be in possession of distribution quantities of fentanyl and cocaine, Waterbury police said.

He was arrested and is facing 13 charges, including larceny of a motor vehicle, possession of narcotics with intent to sell and weapons in a motor vehicle. He is currently being held at the Connecticut Department of Corrections on a $800,000 bond.
