This Wednesday afternoon, in the middle of a police procedure, a subject was shot by a police officer at Central Station . He remains at life risk.

According to police information, uniformed personnel were carrying out raids on three properties in the Toro Mazote and Alameda sector , when the incident occurred.

At the time of entry, people began to flee through the roofs and one of them initially managed to evade control, however, on a nearby street he encountered the troops.

This is how Captain Albornoz explained it at the scene. Furthermore, he added that during the arrest and when he was threatened, an officer fired a shot that wounded the subject.

“The police officer was threatened the minute he was arrested and it was in that circumstance that when he saw that the subject was removing something from his clothing, he made use of his fiscal weapons in self-defense,” he explained.
