A woman was grievously injured after being hit by a car in Maharashtra's Pimpri-Chinchwad on Wednesday, June 12, police said.

The incident happened in the Bhosari area on Wednesday afternoon when the woman was crossing the road. A CCTV footage of the incident showed the car hitting the woman, who got flung in the air and fell some distance away after the impact.

After the incident, the woman was rushed to a private hospital where she is receiving treatment for her injuries.
