A horrific scene unfolded in the Bellavista neighborhood of Coveñas (Sucre) on Sunday night. According to witnesses, Jhony Feria Julio murdered Carlos Pantoja Agámez during a fight inside a pool hall, allegedly using a broken bottle.

After the initial attack, the assailant went to his home, retrieved a machete, and returned to the pool hall, where he decapitated the victim. Minutes later, he walked through the streets of Bellavista carrying the head in his hand, to the astonishment of dozens of people in the area.

The man eventually threw the head into the street. Police were alerted by residents and managed to apprehend the perpetrator.
