A woman travelling in a KSRTC bus died on the spot after she stuck her head out of the window and was hit by an oncoming vehicle. Her head and right hand were completely crushed in the impact.

The woman was travelling to Begur when she "accidentally" stuck her head out the window. At that moment, a fast-moving goods vehicle struck her, causing her head and hand to be completely mangled, resulting in instant death.

Due to the force of the collision, her head injuries caused blood and flesh to stick to the back seat. Two other passengers who were seated behind her sustained minor injuries to their hands.
