Motorized individuals attacked another citizen at a gas station in Santa Lucía.

The man was shot while refueling his motorcycle.

The injured man was taken to a health center, but did not survive.

Agents from the Violent Deaths Unit (Dinased) and Criminalistics were carrying out several investigations to identify the subjects who attacked a citizen at a gas station in the Santa Lucía canton, in the province of Guayas.

The victim of this armed attack , committed on the night of Thursday, October 1, 2026, is Luis Guillermo Castillo Mora, 27 years old.

According to the police report, the man was refueling his motorcycle when two men, who were traveling on another motorcycle, arrived at the scene and shot him repeatedly, in the presence of customers and workers of the gas station.
