Iago Eduardo Gomes dos Santos, 18, was shot dead at point-blank range during the New Year's Eve celebration at dawn on Wednesday, 1st, in IgarapavaIgarapava. The crime happened around 4:20 a.m., in front of the kiosks of the Event Square.

According to information, the official party ended around 2:20 a.m., but some young people remained in the place fraternizing the turn of the year. Shortly thereafter, an argument began between the accused and the victim.

Security cameras recorded the moment the author pulls a gun, points toward Iago and fires, without him having a chance of defense. Friends still tried to bail him out, but he couldn't resist the injuries.

After the crime, the suspect fled. According to authorities, he has already been identified, but remains on the run. The Civil Police investigates the case and conducts searches to locate the perpetrator.
