Waterloo, IA - A Waterloo man is in jail after police say he rammed two squad cars when they responded to a domestic dispute call. He has a history of altercations with police.

Kelvin Plain, Jr., 25, of Waterloo was arrested Tuesday. Police are recommending he be charged with assault on a peace officer, aggravated assault and criminal damage. More charges may be pending. Police Chief Dan Trelka said attempted murder is on the table, judging by the speed he rammed the officers.
