Flower Mound Police Department arrested a 19-year-old man for driving while intoxicated and a collision involving injury on Monday, June 10.

According to police, around 9:30 p.m., officers responded to the 1800 block of Gerault Road to the report of a car accident.

Police say the caller stated that she saw a car run into another car head-on and the suspect appeared to continuously ram into the victim's car.

According to police, the suspect then left the car and ran a short distance before falling in the middle of the roadway.

It was at this point when two employees at a nearby burger restaurant, Jakes Burgers and Beers, ran into the roadway to hold the suspect down until the cops arrived, police say.
