At least six people were killed and another four injured in a new massacre on Wednesday in Ecuador, allegedly carried out by a criminal gang, local authorities confirmed.The new massacre occurred in a house in Durán, a municipality in the metropolitan area of Guayaquil known for being one of the most violent areas in the country, and where criminal groups often use buildings as warehouses for cocaine that they then send through the port to Europe and North America, mainly.According to local media, a group of armed men broke into a house and opened fire on its occupants before fleeing.
