A man, who visited RK Nagar Police Station in Chennai to reportedly file a complaint, set himself on fire outside the station premises.On Monday (January 20) night, a man, identified as Rajan from Pulianthope, came to the station. He came to the police station in an inebriated state, claiming two men had attacked him.He was told to file a written complaint. After he came outside, he set himself on fire, much to the shock of everyone.Although passersby and the police personnel immediately doused the fire, the man suffered severe burn injuries. He was then rushed to hospital for medical attention.The reason behind the act was yet to be ascertained.
