On Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 2:40 am, two unknown males entered a convenience store, located at the 2800 block of Reed, in Houston, Texas. The males first acted like customers, at which time one of the males walked around the counter while armed with a handgun and demanded the money from the cash registers. Both clerks then fought with the suspect and were able to take his gun from him. While fighting the suspect, one of the clerks was also able to retrieve his own gun, pointing it at the suspect numerous times during the scuffle. At one point, the suspect was able to get his gun back when it fell to the ground, but dropped it a second time when the clerk fought the suspect as they made their way from behind the counter to the front of the store. Both suspects were able to get away and fled across the street
