A civil police officer from the 4th Narcotics Investigations Station (DISE ), of the State Department of Prevention and Repression of Drug Trafficking (Denarc) , died after being shot by a motorcyclist during a robbery on Tuesday afternoon (6), in front of the São Camilo Hospital , in Pompeia, West Zone of São Paulo .

Investigator Paulo Henrique da Silva was rescued and taken to the same hospital, but he did not survive his injuries. He was 45 years old and was on a luxury motorcycle when he was approached by the criminal. The criminal fled, stealing the police officer's gun.

In the footage it is possible to see the investigator sitting on the motorcycle, which is parked. On his left side appears the motorcyclist, who is wearing a helmet and a backpack on his back. He is also sitting on a stopped motorbike. The two seem to be talking.

The images also show the investigator passing an object to the motorcyclist. According to police officers who knew the victim, at that moment the criminal had already announced the robbery and was asking for Paulo's cell phone with the password. Then, a woman appears and the criminal and the victim get off the motorcycles.

Another camera shows when the two get into a physical fight until the investigator falls into the street and is shot. Then the motorcyclist grabs the police officer's gun and runs away. According to the Public Security Secretariat (SSP), another criminal participated in the crime. It does not appear in the images.
