In a bizarre incident more fitting for another era, a policeman was attacked with a bow and arrow near the Central Bureau of Investigation office.

Assistant Sub-Inspector Virendra Singh noticed a suspicious man sitting near a tree around 11:15 a.m. on Friday. "I asked him what he was doing there, and he immediately stood up and fired an arrow at me. It struck me in the chest," Singh stated, adding that the assailant appeared intent on killing him.
