The accident occurred on the territory of trolleybus depot No. 2 at 197 Selezneva Street. The horrific accident was caused by a driver with 43 years of experience. A car wash employee accidentally ended up under the wheels.

This happened on August 27. The car wash employee is currently in the hospital. An investigation is underway — confirmed by Nadezhda Postovaya, press secretary of the municipal enterprise "KTTU," to Kuban Inform.

According to preliminary information, the cause of the chain of collisions was a fatal accident. The driver of trolleybus BKM No. 409, with 43 years of experience, after finishing work on route No. 20, entered the car wash at 23:44. After stopping, she got out of the cabin to adjust the mirror and accidentally pressed the start pedal with her foot.

It got stuck, and the vehicle, left uncontrolled, suddenly jerked forward. Everything that happened was recorded by cameras installed in the driver's cabin and at the car wash.

The car wash operator was hospitalized with severe injuries: traumatic brain injury and broken ribs. To stabilize his condition, he was put into an induced coma.

After running over the man, the trolleybus continued moving and drove onto a platform with other vehicles. At full speed, the multi-ton machine collided and piled up 3 more trolleybuses. The woman-driver has already been dismissed, reports the Telegram channel "Trolleybus | Trolleybus." The depot management is conducting its own internal investigation to prevent such situations in the future.

The circumstances of the accident will also be investigated by city police officers. The investigation is ongoing.
