On the night of this Sunday, February 18 , a brutal attack was recorded against a woman, at the hands of another woman and a subject , who attacked her several times with a knife and a bat, causing her serious injuries that forced her to be transferred to a center. assistance on board a taxi.

The incident, which occurred in front of a bakery located on Carrera Tercera and Calle 107, the main road in the Topacio neighborhood, in the Ocho commune of Ibagué , was recorded on video. In these images, it is observed when the aggressor, accompanied by an individual armed with a bat, reduces another woman to the ground and, in addition to hitting her on the head, attacks her several times with a knife.

After a warning from the victim, the aggressor again attacks her and even though her companion tried to stop her, she again causes several injuries with the knife.

Finally, the subject also hit the woman on the head with the bat while she was on the floor and then fled with the aggressor. A statement is expected from the authorities regarding this act of violence against a woman.
