In Campinho, in the Northern Zone of Rio, the dead bodies of three men were found riddled with bullets nearby a car on Dr. Jaime Marques Street.

The reason for the executions is still unknown. In recent months, the area has become a stage for various clashes between militias and drug dealers fighting for control of the area. It is still unknown for sure whether the three men are connected to drug trafficking or the militia, but it has been reported that the men were returning from a party when they were killed by criminals.
