An inmate, identified as Joldi Vailante de Almeida, 25, died after colliding with a pole in the Ilha da Luz neighborhood of Cachoeiro de Itapemirim.

He had benefited from the temporary departure of Mother's Day and was due to return to the prison system on Wednesday, the 11th.
