Around 4:00 a.m. video surveillance captured the suspect dragging a woman to his nearby parked SUV, police said in a news release.

Seconds later, the victim drove up and attempted to assist the woman at which point the suspect pointed a gun at him and demanded money.

The victim explained to the suspect repeatedly, that he did not have any cash. The suspect became enraged and shot the victim once in the stomach and attempted to shoot him a second time, but the gun jammed.
