A wild scene outside Donald Trump's rally in Costa Mesa Thursday included one man jumping on top of a patrol car before several others began to try to overturn the vehicle.

At least 17 people were arrested after a crowd of several hundred flooded the streets outside the Pacific Amphitheater where Trump kicked off his California campaign.

The protests outside Trump's rally appear to point to an upcoming month of activism as the GOP front-runner tries to seal the presidential nomination in the state.
